Writing that engages and informs.

Narrative coaching that helps people tell their story.

Ethical editing that refines without rewriting.

I work with individuals and organizations to create work that is engaging and true to their story. From commissioned profiles to copywriting for bios and websites, grant editing, and workshops, I bring an editorial eye to every project.

Editorial & Copywriting

I create written work that is precise, engaging, and true to the voice at its center. This service is for organizations, publications, and individuals who need profiles, features, or copy that connects with readers quickly. I specialize in partnering with arts and social justice organizations, as well as with marginalized voices and people navigating life transitions.

    • Longform profiles, reported features, and interviews for publications or organizational needs

    • Bios, artist statements, and website copy tailored to the client’s voice and goals

    • Copywriting for grants, programs, or promotional materials

    • Ghostwriting for op-eds, essays, and thought leadership pieces

    • Two rounds of revisions to ensure accuracy, tone, and alignment with the subject’s voice

Narrative Coaching

I offer personalized, one-on-one guidance for storytellers navigating career changes, creative transitions, burnout, or the challenge of presenting themselves and their work. This service is for anyone—particularly those from marginalized or underserved backgrounds—who wants to tell their story with honesty, confidence, and control. We work collaboratively to uncover the story you want to tell, not the one others expect from you.

    • 60- or 90-minute live coaching sessions via Zoom or in person (3- or 6-session packages available)

    • Exercises in writing, reflection, and somatic practice to help connect with your voice

    • Feedback and guidance on drafts, outlines, or talking points

    • Narrative frameworks for artist statements, bios, personal essays, or public speaking

    • Ongoing email support between sessions for accountability and momentum

Ethical Editing

I provide careful, considered editing that strengthens a piece without erasing its voice. This service is for individuals and organizations who want their writing to be polished while remaining authentic—particularly when telling stories about marginalized communities, sensitive experiences, or creative work. My approach ensures accuracy, respect, and alignment with the storyteller’s intent.

    • Line-by-line edits for clarity, flow, and readability while retaining the original tone

    • Feedback on structure, pacing, and narrative focus

    • Sensitivity review for language, framing, and potential harm

    • Two rounds of revisions to refine both content and presentation

    • Style or tone guide for future writing to maintain consistency

How We Can Work Together:

In our 30-minute discovery call, we’ll define the scope of your project, including deliverables, timeline, and preferences. We’ll identify any pre-work—such as research, resource gathering, or interviews—needed before we begin. This conversation is purely to understand your needs before the work starts.

1 - Discovery

Once the work is commissioned, we begin our round of “firsts.” For editing projects, I’ll provide overarching feedback and topline edits for your review. For drafting, you’ll receive an outline as the foundation for the first draft. For coaching and workshop engagements, I’ll share a tailored curriculum outlining the focus and flow of our sessions.

2 - Alignment

From there, we’ll move into the final stage of the work. For writing projects, we’ll collaborate on drafts and edits, with up to two rounds of revisions to ensure the piece is complete and true to its intent. For workshops or coaching, we’ll refine the structure to best meet our goals, define how we’ll measure success, and confirm what participants will take away from the experience.

3 - Collaboration
